Coming Soon: Larkenia’s Flaws

February 18th, 2011

I’m in the process of bringing over the archives of Larkenia’s Flaws. It’ll be a slow process, since there are a lot of installments (and other pages), but it’s definitely something I’m excited about. I’ve been meaning to move it over for awhile, since I know a few of you have been asking about it.

It’s not going to be revived anytime soon, but it’s still nice to keep all of my fiction in one place for you guys to enjoy. And who knows, maybe someday I’ll sit down and do a post about how I always envisioned the serial ending. :)

[Damn Kids] Update & Three New Short Stories

December 23rd, 2010

There’s a new short story up in the [Damn Kids] expanded universe. It’s called “And Their Loud Music“, and features Cindy getting so distracted by a pretty face that she completely forgets about her mission.

I also added three new short stories. In “Dead Girl Walking,” Tina’s stuck spending her New Year’s Eve fighting an incredibly annoying vampire. “Ice” is about caving to your primal desires, and embracing your true form, no matter what the costs. And “Mutual Needs” tells the story of an injured vampire and sick incubus, finding comfort and a lingering desire in each other’s arms.

Enjoy!

New Short Story & Donation Option

December 10th, 2010

I’ve updated my short stories section with a new tale, “Wide Awake.” It’s an urban fantasy vignette about a girl named Kamala, whose reoccurring dreams are much more than they seem.

I’ve also put up a new donation button in the sidebar. If you like my original fiction, please consider donating enough to buy me a decaf coffee. It’s a great way to show your appreciation, and it costs you much less than a paperback. Thanks!

Post-NaNo Website Edits

December 2nd, 2010

Woot, NaNo is done! Okay, so technically I finished NaNoWriMo on the 12th of November, so my novel’s been done for awhile, but I’m just now feeling able to leap back into writing and exploring fiction after a two week OMG I ACTUALLY COMPLETED MY NANOVEL celebration and then constant nap-time.

Which also means updating my website. I’m hoping to get some pages up for my expanded universes. The expanded universes might include character bios, short stories, poetry, opening themes, soundtracks, and various other universe-specific information that doesn’t follow any particular continuity. I’m really excited about this, and have been wanting to do it since October, but am just now getting a chance.

So, look for it soon. *does a happy dance*

Current Mood: (excited) excited

Original Fiction Bingo

October 2nd, 2010

Woo! I got my Original Fiction Bingo card! I have so many ideas, and I can’t wait to get started.

My First Original Fiction Bingo Card

I’m also uploading some fiction, both original and fan (Star Trek). Check out the archives for some new stuff. I’m also working out how to include some of my expanded universes that are too big for a single paragraph in the Short Stories section, followed by ‘part’ numbers, but that aren’t quite big enough for their own header and subsection of the site. Off to think some thinky thoughts!

True Blood 3.01 Reaction Post

June 16th, 2010

So I just got around to watching the season premiere of True Blood last night. I wanted to wait until I could watch it with my wife, so it took us a few days to coordinate. But OMFG, I’m so geeked about it! So, I thought I’d make a reaction post (even though I don’t normally do these).
